Grant Program Guidelines
 Millstone  Township Foundation for Educational Excellence


The mission of the Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence ("MTFEE") is to promote and enhance educational excellence in Millstone Township's public schools by distributing grants that may not be available through federal, state or local budgets.  It is with great pleasure that we provide you with the attached MTFEE Grant Program Application.  Below is a list of grant guidelines/information, and attached is a description of the seven different branches within the grant program for your reference.

Your completed application, with Principal’s Acknowledgement, are due no later than (Fall 2009 date coming soon). Please place completed application in the white MTFEE mailboxes, located in your school office.

Grant recipients will be notified in early June.  Awards will be based on the applicant’s ability to demonstrate a measurable benefit for their students, the merits of the proposed project, and the availability of Foundation funds.

 Grant Program Guidelines and Information

 PLEASE READ THOUROUGHLY

 AS THERE HAVE BEEN REVISIONS TO OUR INTSTRUCTIONS

The mission of the Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence (“MTFEE”) is to fund extraordinary educational experiences for Millstone's public school students.  We hope to promote and enhance educational excellence in Millstone Township’s public schools by distributing grants that may not be available through federal, state or local budgets. It is with great pleasure that we provide you with the opportunity to apply to our Grant Program.  Below is a list of the grant guidelines/information.   

  • MTFEE grants are open to all Staff and Administrators (i.e. Nurse, Guidance, Special Needs, etc.).
  • An entire grade level or department can apply for a grant.  Please be sure to obtain each teacher/applicants signature.
  • You can apply for a grant for Staff Development.
  • You can apply for a grant for a Guest Speaker (i.e. Poet, Medical Doctor, Scientist, Biologist, Healthy Relationships, Dealing with Bullies, etc.) Please consider the investment and sustainability of “one time” programs.  These are great programs to share with neighboring school districts and should be explored in conjunction with and prior to the application.
  • No idea is too big or too small.

  • If you have any questions or need help, Laura Vetere will assist you in writing your grant.
  • To date the MTFEE has awarded over $370,000 in grants.
  • Our application is very simple and is also available at www.MTFEE.org.

 NEW - If you have attachments that are to be included with the application, please provide seven additional copies along with your grant application.  If the attachment is large, please give your copies to your principal and put a note in the mailbox directing us to pick them up.
